Golf Season Kickoff
If you are interested in Crown Knights Golf, please make
plans to attend a Parent/Player Information Meeting on Saturday,
December 6, in
The King's Academy Chapel at 10:30 a.m.
The 2009 Crown Knights Golf season will kickoff the week of
February 10th, 2009 with bi-weekly practices every Tuesday and
Thursday until our matches begin in March. Our match schedule
for 2009 is still being developed and will be finalized by the
end of January and posted on the website. It will be similar to
the 2008 schedule that is currently posted so feel free to
review it to get an idea of what our 2009 schedule will be like.
The Knights will be blessed to have two home courses for the
2009 season,
Cobblestone Golf Course in Acworth and
Woodmont Golf Club in Canton. Both of these courses are
beautiful and challenging layouts and we are privileged to be
able to play at two of the premier course in this area.
If you are a home school student in grades 8-12 and
interested in participating in our golf program, we welcome you
to try out for our team! Some previous golf experience is
required. We will have our 2009 season information meeting in
December this year in order to gauge the interest for a possible
junior varsity team this coming season. See

Our 2008 season included 7 matches with teams around the
region and we were very blessed with outstanding participation
by both parents and athletes and a winning record of 6-1. We had
an outstanding team last year and anticipate a very talented
team this year with several of our 2008 team members returning
for their senior year. We are also looking forward to a more
challenging match schedule this coming year as the coaches are
already at work lining up matches with talented teams we have
not played in the past.
Your response to these requests is not a guarantee that your
child will be selected for the team. Each child must undergo
an evaluation to obtain a position on the team. Details regarding
team size, age limitations, and abilities required for this particular
sport will be provided in advance to potential athletes.
