Second State Championship in a Row!

ACCE 2009 State Champs

ACCE 2009 Varsity State Champs

It was an exciting night on October 15 when the top four teams in the ACCE took the floor at Kings Ridge Christian School to battle it out for first place in the 2009 State Championship.  After a win over American Heritage, the Knights took on the Kings Ridge Tigers and defended their title with a three-straight game shut down!  We are so proud that the team’s hard work paid off this season, but most importantly we are thankful for their winning attitude and team camaraderie.  We’d also like to recognize our fantastic coaches - Grace Fossier and Miranda Gapen - you made this season one of the best yet!

Congratulations also to the following ACCE Varsity All Tournament Players:

  • Chelsea Breaden - Senior
  • Christa Prince - Junior
  • Lila Toholsky - Sophomore

Knights End Great Season!

Sunday, October 11th, 2009

The Knights have had another great competitive season of Volleyball and we’re sad to see it drawing to a close. The Middle School teams attended the NAML tournament on October 8 where the MS B team came in 6th place.  The MS A team proudly brought home a 4th place trophy – way to go! The Knights JV record this season was 7 and 5 and on October 13 they took 3rd place in their division in the ACCE, a great accomplishment considering this team has many players brand new to the game.  Congratulations to freshman Sydney Marshall who received the JV All Tournament Player Award.  Can’t wait to see what next season has in store!
